🚨 Now Hiring: Accreditation Support Coordinator (2-Year Contract Position)
Help Strengthen Law Enforcement Agencies Across Arizona
The Arizona Law Enforcement Accreditation Program (ALEAP) is seeking an experienced independent contractor to support a two-year, grant-funded initiative focused on expanding accreditation among small, rural, and tribal law enforcement agencies throughout Arizona.
This is a high-impact, autonomous contract opportunity for an accreditation professional who is passionate about improving agency operations, reducing risk, and strengthening public trust—especially in under-resourced communities.
Why This Opportunity Matters
This role directly supports agencies that often lack access to accreditation resources. Your work will help agencies build sustainable systems, meet professional standards, and achieve long-term success.
What You’ll Do
- Onboard and support at least 20 agencies through the accreditation process
- Conduct site visits, mock assessments, and training sessions statewide
- Provide hands-on policy and compliance guidance
- Deliver training at ALEAP/AACOP conferences
- Develop curriculum, workshops, and agency-specific remediation plans
- Serve as a trusted resource to agencies preparing for accreditation
Who We’re Looking For
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Has experience with law enforcement accreditation (ALEAP, CALEA, or similar)
- Has worked as an Accreditation Manager, assessor, or compliance professional
- Is comfortable working independently and managing their own schedule
- Enjoys travel, relationship-building, and hands-on agency support
- Has experience working with rural or tribal law enforcement agencies (preferred)
Contract Highlights
- Independent contractor role (not employment)
- Grant-funded, two-year term
- Flexible schedule with defined deliverables
- Statewide travel required
- Meaningful, mission-driven work with measurable outcomes
