The ALEAP Commission has officially approved the new Pre Read Packet, formerly known as the Welcome Packet. This updated guide outlines the content requirements for your agency’s on-site assessment packet and is intended to better prepare agencies and assessors for a more meaningful, organized, and efficient assessment process.
The new guide for the Pre Read Packet provides information regarding required sections, reaccreditation-only sections, and optional sections, while still allowing each agency the flexibility to present the information in a format that works best for them. As noted in the guide, this document is considered assessor work product and is not subject to release.
To help walk everyone through the changes, expectations, and overall purpose of the new packet, we will be hosting a training during the next ALEAP Exchange, April 7, 2026 at 10:00 AM.
