This week marks National Public Safety Telecommunications Week, a time to recognize the professionals who serve as the first point of contact in emergency situations.
Across Arizona and throughout the country, communication center personnel play a critical role in public safety. In Arizona alone, there are approximately 79 communication centers that support law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical services serving as the vital link between the public and first responders.
Their ability to remain calm under pressure, gather critical information, and coordinate response efforts ensures that help is delivered quickly and effectively when it matters most.
ALEAP acknowledges the important work of all communication centers and the individuals who serve within them. Their professionalism, precision, and dedication are essential to the success of every response.
We thank you for your continued service and commitment to public safety!
